Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Task0’s website, web application, and mobile apps (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You may sign in using email and password or a supported third-party provider such as Google.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt the Service, its security, or other users’ data without authorization.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law.
• Resell, sublicense, or misuse the Service or interfere with its normal operation.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant Task0 a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including sending relevant content to AI providers to power features you use. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights necessary to submit it.

5. AI features

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate suggestions, prioritization, summaries, and similar outputs. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it, and you should not treat it as professional advice.

6. Plans, billing, and changes

• We currently offer a free plan and may offer paid plans in the future. Features and limits for each plan are described on the Service and may change.
• If you purchase a paid plan, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the applicable fees. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (other than Your Content), is owned by Task0 or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.

8. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as Google sign-in, AI providers, and notification services). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will meet your requirements.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Task0 and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Task0 harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
